Key duties

Responsibilities

The role combines clinical monitoring, care planning, family education, and coordination with the wider therapeutic team.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and counsellors to provide holistic rehabilitation care.
  • Perform patient assessments and assist in developing individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and coordinate with therapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes, goals, and at-home care.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and documentation standards.
  • Assist in pain management, mobility training, and functional restoration activities.

Key requirements

Candidate profile

ARS is looking for a licensed nurse with rehabilitation experience, strong communication, and collaborative clinical judgement.

  • Diploma in Nursing, preferably with a psychiatric or addiction option, and a valid practising license in Kenya.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in rehabilitation, physical medicine, or a similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
