Responsibilities
The role combines clinical monitoring, care planning, family education, and coordination with the wider therapeutic team.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and counsellors to provide holistic rehabilitation care.
- Perform patient assessments and assist in developing individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and coordinate with therapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes, goals, and at-home care.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and documentation standards.
- Assist in pain management, mobility training, and functional restoration activities.
Key requirements
Candidate profile
ARS is looking for a licensed nurse with rehabilitation experience, strong communication, and collaborative clinical judgement.
- Diploma in Nursing, preferably with a psychiatric or addiction option, and a valid practising license in Kenya.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in rehabilitation, physical medicine, or a similar healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
